Retrieving Messages From Google Backup

- Go to Settings on your phone

But there is a drawback, to follow this method, you will have to factory reset your phone to erase all of its contents and recover the lost messages in the process. Before following this procedure make sure to back up your device’s important files on another device or Google Drive.

Even if you forgot to turn on the Google Drive backup feature and deleted the message then there are various ways of recovering text messages. Plenty of external apps can be found on PlayStore which can be used to restore text messages.
But the authenticity of these apps is not known, there are chances that you might pay for these and they end up scamming you. Thus it is important to choose only those apps and software which have validity and real customer reviews.
Some of the apps which can be used are DroidKit, Dr. Fone, EaseUs MobiSaver, and others. These are easily available and can be found on Playstore or could be downloaded from their official website. The setting up process is relatively simple and there are prompts on each software that can be followed to set it up.
